Round Table Events

So, you are attending a round table event.  What should you expect.?

First, these events are informal by design, so don't stress out.  All participation is optional.  They will likely ask for contact information, but you can name yourself, Joe from the Eastside, for the evening if you like.

Second, you will be guided or asked to select a table or small group.  These groups will be used to gather information.  Most events will use a moderator.  That is simply someone to ask questions and gather the information, verbally or in writing.  This person will provide several questions and ask for your input.   There may also provide an opportunity to discuss each topic with other participants.  Make sure you take time to see or hear what others have contributed.  It is typically posted on a map or bulletin board at the end of the event.

Last, it is always best to keep answers simple, direct, and to the point.  Don't be afraid to take a stand for what you would really like to see.  The event sponsors will be trying to compile everyone's information into one final report.  The more direct you are, the more your input will stand out.   The better your voice will be heard.

Please contact us directly for ways to support this effort.

The Case of the Disappearing Signs

For those of you who noticed our signs were down.  This was our plan, to collect signs until the next meeting.  Unfortunately, someone beat us to it.  All but a couple of signs were taken even on private property.  This is a sad state of events.  New locations are needed.  Please contact us if you have a neutral parcel of land or location that can be used.

All signs must be placed with property owner's permission.  â€‹

We would also like to extend a special Thank You to the individuals who have underwritten our signs and another sponsor who covered the bulk of the second Public Hearing charge.  We can't do this alone.

Thank You in advance for your financial

and community outreach support.
