Meeting Update
Proposed Municipal Civil Infraction Public Hear
September 30th, Mill Creek Academy.
We would like to sincerely thank all of you who were able to make it to the Public Hearing this Tuesday on a new form of ordinance enforcement in our community.

For those of you who we unable to make it, there were approximately 100 residents in attendance. There was a lot of good input on township policy and enforcement strategies, and it would be fair to say, the proposed ordinance was NOT popular.

To summarize, there were 7 people who were in favor of the proposed CIO. Problem is....three of those are on the Township Board.

The board did not vote during the meeting. Two members voiced concerns that this isn't ready and that there is still a lot of work to do before this would be an option. The other three, I guess we'll find out at the next meeting on October 9th at 6:30pm.

Civil Infraction Ordinance
The Whitewater Township Board of Trustees is currently considering changing our current form of ordinance enforcement.

This is a highly controversial topic with very passionate positions on both sides of the discussion. The draft ordinance, information, related articles, and letters to the board posted here are a way to expand public awareness and access to information.
Sometimes a tune can say it all. Contributed by one individual based on our draft ordinance, conversations, and issues overheard at the cancelled Public Hearing, July 10th.
